A light supper consisting of a selection of finger food will be provided. Drinks can be purchased from the bar.
At the conclusion of the presentation, Wollongong City Little Athletics will hold its Annual General Meeting.

Every athlete gave 100% effort with some outstanding results including zone records and personal bests.

Event wrap up…..
Record number of athletes – 310.
Over 100 athletes from Wollongong City with athletes from Bowral, Dapto, Northern Illawarra and Wollondilly.
Excellent weather conditions proved favourable with many track and field records being broken.
Chelsy Wayne broke a long standing under 10 girls long jump record set back in 1990 with a fantastic jump improving on the old record by a massive 17cm setting a new record of 4.31m.
Chelsy also broke the shot put and discus records as well as being part of the record breaking junior girls 4 x 100m relay team.
Older sister, Jamaya Wayne also broke a long standing 23 year old discus record in under 12’s girl’s discus, throwing 31.20, beating 30.32.
Chelsea Ezoeke had a very impressive weekend setting 4 new records and was also part of the record breaking junior girls relay team.
Other multiple record breakers included Kailee Moore, Grace Adams and Gabriel Bickel.
The relay at the end of the meet was made up of the fastest 100m runners from each club on the day to make up junior and senior boys and girls teams.
Wollongong City took out all 4 relays and set records in the Junior Girls and senior Girls events – an outstanding result.
All qualifying athletes will now prepare for the Regional Championships also being hosted by the South Coast and Highlands Zone at Beaton Park in February 2018.

WCLA athletes performed well at the NSW All Schools Championships held over 4 days at Sydney Olympic park last week.
Outstanding performances included:
Gold medal winning sisters:
- Gold Medal to Eleanor Tozer in the Pentathlon and finalist in the 100m
- Gold Medal to Rosie Tozer in High Jump
- 2 x Silver Medals to Grace Adams in the u/15, 90m and 200m Hurdles and 5th in the u/16 400Hurdles
- Silver Medal to Jackie Lenartowicz in the Hammer Throw
- Bronze Medal to Blake Barklay in the 100m hurdles
