The club BBQ is run on each competition night, and it is the main source of income to help us provide FREE track entry for our athletes and parents/carers each week.
Our knowledgeable BBQ coordinators run the BBQ each week from 5.30pm – 7.45pm however, we also rely on the assistance of 3-4 age group parents/carers to allow the BBQ to run smoothly and efficiently during this time.
Age groups are allocated on a roster system per week, and it is greatly appreciated that helpers from each rostered age group are aware when their age group is allocated to the BBQ throughout the season. Only one 1.25-hour session is allocated to a rostered age group each night, so there is plenty of time during the night to enjoy watching your little athlete compete.
Helping on the BBQ is a great opportunity to meet other parents from a similar age group and also meet some of our amazing committee members, and let’s not forget that you will always have some fun in between.
2024-2025 Roster
3-4 parents in the allocated age group are required to arrive at the BBQ tent prior to the allocated session (5.15pm-6.30pm or 6.30pm-7.45pm) so a duty can be given.
